The Tyger River Dentistry team is truly exceptional. Every staff member is well-skilled, professional, and accommodating. They support one another and work as a team to provide each patient with a high-quality, personalized dental experience.

Hygiene Team
Robin - Registered Dental Hygienist
Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene, has worked as a hygienist since 1998, and joined us in 2018. She provides thorough, gentle cleanings, preventive, periodontal and maintenance care. She also handles all marketing and social media for the office.
Robin's daughter Carolina recently graduated from USC (GO COCKS!) and is a NICU nurse at Prisma Children's Hospital in Columbia. Outside of the office, Robin and her husband Jared love the outdoors and traveling.
Chandra - Registered Dental Hygienist
Chandra holds an associate’s degree, is certified for anesthesia, and can monitor nitrous. She started in the field in 2002 and joined our team in 2007. In addition to regular dental cleanings for children and adults, she offers periodontal maintenance treatment, takes X-rays, and places sealants. Chandra also handles OSHA compliance.
Chandra has three wonderful children and loves spending time with them. Chandra loves singing and working in her church. She also enjoys couponing, which allows her to provide for her family and to donate to our community through her church ministry.
Maria - Registered Dental Hygienist
Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene She started her dental career in 2005 and joined our practice in 2022 She provides routine cleanings, scaling and root planing, and takes X-rays.
Maria has three wonderful kids and enjoys chaperoning the Rebel Regiment marching band and Byrnes Winterguard teams.
Karyn - Registered Dental Hygienist
Karyn graduated from hygiene school in 2019 with an Associate’s degree in science/dental hygiene. She joined our team shortly thereafter, and is responsible for cleaning our patients’ teeth and teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
Karyn is married and has four children. She loves to read, bake, and work outside, as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Abby - Registered Dental Hygienist
Abby graduated from Greenville Technical College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She enjoys building relationships with patients and creating a welcoming, positive experience during each visit. When she's not in the office, Abby enjoys reading, discovering new coffee shops, and taking long walks with her husband.
Jacqueline - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jacqueline joined Tyger River Family Dentistry in 2024. Jacqueline is a dedicated dental hygienist originally from the South Carolina area. She is passionate about preventive dentistry and enjoys educating patients on maintaining healthy, confident smiles. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, reading and baking.
Front Office Team
Rhonda - Operations Manager
Rhonda started in the dental field in 1992 and joined Tyger River Family Dentistry in 1998. In addition to skillfully managing our schedule, she is our new patient concierge, chief culture officer, and general office manager.
Rhonda grew up in the area and graduated from Byrnes High School. She and her husband Rob have been married for more than 35 years and have two sons, Rustin and Rylan.
Jennifer - Front Office, Financial and Insurance Coordinator
Jennifer began working in the dental field in 2017 and joined Tyger River Family Dentistry in 2020. She helps patients understand insurance details and financial obligations, along with patient concierge tasks.
Jennifer and her husband Joey have four children and 11 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and snuggling with a good book.
Leanne - Front Office
Leanne has been working in the dental field since 2020 and joined Tyger River in 2024. Leanne is married with one daughter. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family, fur babies and anything that involves resting and relaxing.
Michelle - Front Office
Michelle started in the medical field in 1991 and came to Tyger River in 2025. She enjoys making our patients feel welcomed with a friendly smile and caring attitude. Michelle has 3 children and 1 grandson. Outside of the office Michelle enjoys working outside, the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Assistant Team
Kara - Certified Dental Assistant
Kara attended Greenville Tech, started working in the dental field in 2000, and joined our Tyger River Family Dentistry team in 2003. She works chairside, assisting the doctors with various procedures while supporting their patient.
Kara is the mother of two boys and has two Labs, as well. She loves Clemson football and the beach.
Charity - Certified Dental Assistant
Charity obtained her certification in dental assisting from Greenville Technical College and is also certified in nitrous oxide. She started in the dental field in 1997 and joined our practice in 1998. In addition to working chairside and assisting the doctors with procedures, she follows up with patients who need to schedule treatment.
Charity resides in Lyman with her husband Johnny. She has two sons and is an active member of Wellford Baptist Church, where she enjoys teaching 2-to-5-year-olds, helping with college and singles ministry, and serving the community. In her spare time, she loves entertaining and being with family and friends.
